J. Michael Nauman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Nauman joined Brady Corporation in 2014 after having been a Brady customer for 25 years at two Midwest integrated manufacturers of electrical and electronic connection systems. A hands-on leader who thrives on attacking challenges, Mr. Nauman is

focused on driving product innovation.

Prior to joining Brady, he spent 20 years at Lisle, Ill.-based Molex, where he launched that company’s high performance cable assembly business unit.

Mr. Nauman took on successively larger assignments including turnarounds of lagging business units, developing overseas operations allowing worldwide expansion, negotiating key partnerships and creating a global strategy that opened up new markets and fueled revenue growth. In 2007, he became the company’s Senior Vice President while leading Molex’s Global Integrated Products division and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2009.

Prior to joining Molex in 1994, Mr. Nauman was a tax accountant and auditor for Arthur Andersen and Company before serving as Controller and then President and CEO of Ohio Associated Enterprises, Inc.

Mr. Nauman earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and holds three U.S. patents. Married and the father of two children, he is a board member of the Arkansas Science & Technology Authority, Arkansas Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Coalition, and Museum of Discovery. 

Thomas J. Felmer

Tom Felmer
President, Workplace Safety

Mr. Felmer joined the Company in 1989 and has held several sales and marketing positions until being named Vice President and General Manager of Brady’s U.S. Signmark Division in 1994. In 1999, Mr. Felmer moved to Europe where he led the European Signmark business for two years, then gained additional responsibility for the European direct marketing businesses, which he also led for two years. In 2003, Mr. Felmer returned to the United States where he was responsible for Brady’s global sales and marketing processes, Brady Software businesses, and integration leader of the EMED acquisition. In June 2004, he was appointed President-Direct Marketing Americas, and was named Chief Financial Officer in January 2008, and President, Workplace Safety in September 2014. 

Russell Shaller

President - Identification Solutions

Russell R. Shaller - Mr. Shaller joined the Company in 2015 as Senior Vice President and President – ID Solutions. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Shaller served as President, Teledyne Microwave Solutions, from 2008 to 2015, with responsibility for advanced microwave products sold into the aerospace and communications industry. Before joining Teledyne in 2008, Mr. Shaller held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at W.L. Gore & Associates, including Division Leader, Electronic Products Division from 2003 to 2008 and General Manager of Gore Photonics from 2001 to 2003. Prior to joining W.L. Gore in 1993, Mr. Shaller worked in engineering and program management positions at Westinghouse Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware.

Aaron Pearce

Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Mr. Pearce joined the Company in 2004 as Director of Internal Audit. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Finance Director for the Company’s Asia Pacific region, and from 2008 to 2010, served as Global Tax Director. In January 2010, Mr. Pearce was appointed Vice President, Treasurer, and Director of Investor Relations, and in April 2013, was named Vice President - Finance, with responsibility for finance support to the Company’s Workplace Safety and ID Solutions businesses, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations.

Mr. Pearce was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in September 2014, and Chief Accounting Officer in July 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pearce was an auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1994 to 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a certified public accountant;

Helena Nelligan

Senior Vice President - Human Resources

Ms. Nelligan joined Brady in November, 2013.   She comes to Brady from Eaton Corporation, where she was employed since 2005.  Most recently , she served as  Vice President of Human Resources for the Electrical Products and Electrical Systems and Infrastructure Groups. She held various other leadership roles with Eaton, including Vice President of Human Resources for Eaton’s Electrical Sector, America’s region Director of Human Resources for the Electrical Components Division and an international assignment as Senior Manager of Human Resources for the Vehicle Group, Asia Pacific located in Shanghai, China.Prior to joining Eaton, she held various human resources leadership roles driving regional and global operations within Merisant Worldwide and British Petroleum (BP).

Louis Bolognini

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Attorney Louis T. Bolognini joined Brady as Sr. VP, General Counsel and Secretary in January, 2013.  In this role, Lou is responsible for Brady's global legal function and serves as corporate secretary and adviser to Brady's Board of Directors and senior management team on all legal, risk, compliance and governance issues. Lou brings many years of complex litigation management experience, as well as a wide range of experience in global transactions, corporate governance, ethics and compliance, internal audit, insurance and crisis management, having served as General Counsel at Imperial Sugar Company and Bio Lab, Inc., a subsidiary of Chemtura Corporation. He is a law graduate of the University of Toledo and also holds a bachelor's degree from the Miami University of Ohio.

Bentley Curran

Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Digital Business

Mr. Curran joined the Company in 1999 and has held several technology leadership positions until being named Vice President of Information Technology in 2005.   In October 2007, he was appointed Chief Information Officer of Brady Globally.  In February 2012, he was appointed to his current position, Vice President of Digital Business and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Brady, Mr. Curran served in a variety of technology leadership roles for Compucom and the Speed Queen Company.  He holds a Bachelor of business administration from Marian University and holds an associate of science degree in electronics and engineering systems.

Ann Thornton

Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller

Ann Thornton joined the Company in 2009 as Corporate Accounting Supervisor. Ms. Thornton held the positions of Corporate Accounting Manager, External Reporting Manager and Corporate Finance Manager from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, she was named Director, Investor Relations and Global Accounting, and in 2015, she was named Corporate Controller and Director of Investor Relations. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Thornton was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2005 to 2009.
