Brady Corporation (“Brady”) is committed to ensuring that our supply chain reflects our respect for human rights. To fulfill this commitment, Brady has a dedicated policy on Forced Labor and Human Trafficking. This policy can be viewed here.
The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 and the UK Modern Slavery Act of 2015 require companies that manufacture or sell products in these jurisdictions to disclose their efforts, if any, to eradicate forced labor and human trafficking in their direct supply chains. These laws were designed to increase consumer’s knowledge about the products they buy and the companies they choose to support.
Brady and its subsidiaries and affiliates are committed to complying with these laws wherever we operate and to conduct all business activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. We expect the same of the parties with which we do business.
To ensure the commitment of our suppliers to our policy regarding Forced Labor and Human Trafficking, Brady suppliers of more than $500,000 of goods or services annually will be required to complete an annual declaration of compliance with these laws. All suppliers, including those required to certify annually, will be required to comply with the parameters set forth in the Brady Supplier Manual, including the provisions on compliance with all applicable laws regarding forced labor and human trafficking. Brady will direct all of its suppliers to resources for education and training on forced labor and human trafficking laws
